To me, beauty is a huge attribute of God.The beauty of who God is. The beauty of holiness. The beauty of creation. And looking for the original beauty in each person. I believe each one of us is made in the beautiful image of God. Sin and selfishness and hurt can really damage our access to the best and whole of who God made us. But that beauty is there, waiting to be reclaimed again and again.

'You send Your Spirit' the psalmist writes 'to renew the face of the earth.' I think we find the wholeness of who we are, in our lives in Jesus Christ. And I think the whole creation is brimful of God, a sort of shimmering beauty, awaiting release, waiting to overflow, to break through into our world and into our lives.
