Not everyone has always stood by me, in difficult times, but those who have - those who have been true friends - have been amazing. A teaching colleague, who has been always there for me. And a university friend, with whom I am just able to chat and drink coffee and relax. They have dignified me. And my priests and friends at church who have shown love and faithfulness in prayer. The amazing sisters I came to know in two convents. I see so much grace in the love and friendship that people share together - the kindness in trouble, the laughter and happiness together, the sharing of lives. I feel so grateful for my friends.
